Is this the upcoming BlackBerry Android device?

Thanks to a new leak from @evleaks, what we have here might be the lower half and physical keyboard of one of BlackBerry’s upcoming Android smartphones. The company is in fact planning to launch at least two new Android devices this year, one codenamed the BlackBerry Venice and the BlackBerry Prague.

The Venice is set to be a high end slider while the Prague is expected to look more like the lower-end BlackBerry Z3. However this render posted by @evleaks doesn’t look like either one and actually resembles the BlackBerry Passport a lot more. If it does end up being like the Passport, the device is likely to be pretty big with flagship features and a high price to boot.

Buttons on the display also indicates that the BlackBerry is running on Android Lollipop, but that’s all we can tell just from the render alone, with little more information available on the device.

However, something is a bit off with the render because the “Enter” key is on the digital keyboard is redundant since there is one on the physical QWERTY keyboard. Also since the device was rumoured to be a slider, the keys jutting out doesn’t make any sense as it will get in the way when you slide it back in on top of it looking like the Passport.  So like any rumour, take this with a pinch of salt.
