Apart from its postpaid plans, U Mobile is packing more value to its wireless broadband plans by adding an extra 2GB of all-day data quota. Its current MB68 of RM68/month now offers an accumulative 12GB of data instead of the usual 10GB (5GB all-day + 5GB off peak) per month. If you need a modem or a MiFi Hotspot (3G 21Mbps model), U Mobile is offering them for free without contract.
The extra data offer is also applicable on its higher MB88 (RM88/month) and MB128 (RM128/month) broadband plans and the extra 2GB offer is permanent if you sign up by 31st of August. As per current promotion, their wireless broadband plans offer free music streaming via Era FM, Hitz, MyFM and KKBox, as well as free YouTube and Tonton streaming during off-peak (2AM to 10AM) hours.
For faster connectivity, U Mobile offers 4G LTE enabled USB sticks and MiFi as well. Strangely the 42Mbps 3G HSPA+ modem stick costs more and we recommend you get the 4G LTE version to maximise your connection potential.
During sign up you would need to pay RM150 as upfront payment and U Mobile will be rebate back RM10/month for 10 months to your monthly bill usage. For more info, head over to U Mobile’s Broadband page.
