The Apple Watch is known for needing a daily nighttime juicing as the battery can only last a maximum of 18 hours at a go. There are already third party accessories that are coming out for the Watch but very few actually claim to be able to bump up your battery life, and the Reserve Strap is looking like the most legit one so far.
The Reserve Strap essentially is a battery in the form of a well, strap that extends the life of the Apple Watch to about 30 hours. That roughly equates to 167% more battery life which in turn means you have to spend a lot less time stuck to a plugpoint to keep everything up and running. All you need to do is press the button on the strap to start charging the Watch when you feel the Watch could use a pick me up or you could leave it on to keep juicing to keep it at 100% battery till the Strap starts to wind down. This means you can get roughly 48 hours of use before you need to recharge them both.
The Strap is designed to fit most wrist sizes and is water resistant, with compatibility with both 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch sizes. It will be available for purchase in three colours, white, grey and black, as pictured below.
However none of this comes cheap as the Reserve Strap is retailing for $ 249.99 (about RM 945) which is pretty killer for a strap, but at the moment its a bit hard to say just how effective the strap might be without real world testing.
The first shipment of the Reserve Strap is set to head out into the world on November 3rd 2015.
