UPDATE: ASUS Malaysia offers the ZenPower 9600mAh Power Bank at RM59 on their online store.
Looks like DirectD is now stocking the credit card sized ASUS Zenpower 9600 mAh battery packs for RM59 inclusive of GST.
We originally spotted the battery packs in Jakarta during the ASUS Zenfone 2 launch a few months back, with the device sporting a larger 10000 mAh capacity but has since been made official to be a bit smaller than originally anticipated, as we won’t be getting that version locally.
Moreover, the official pricing for the device was announced by ASUS to be RM 69, which is actually slightly more expensive than what DirectD is currently offering.
The ZenPower has the advantage of being lighter than most power banks (at only 215g) and it pushes a higher 2.4Amp which charges faster than the typical 2.1Amp output shared by other battery packs.
Three colours of Zenpower are currently available, namely silver, blue and gold, and you can snag one for yourself here. No word if we will be getting the black and pink colour variants but DirectD will likely bring them in eventually.
