China’s Richest Man bought two Apple Watch Editions and you won’t be able to guess who they’re for

Priced beyond the grasp of mere mortals, the Apple Watch Edition is the most expensive smart watch you can get right now. But the astronomical RM40,000 price tag per watch is not stopping the richest man in China — Wang Jianlin — to buy not one, but two. But then again, with a name like “Wang” its pretty easy to see why he is the richest man in China.

Anyway, back to the story. If buying two RM40,000 smart watches is not outrageous enough for you, then this will make you go WTF. The pricey digital timepieces are worn by a dog!

But this is no ordinary dog. Wang Sicong, the son of Wang Jianlin, posted on his dog’s Wiebo account (yes, the dog has a Weibo account) pictures of the family Husky flaunting two gold Apple Watch Edition, one each on its front paws, with the caption: “I have new watches! I’m supposed to have four watches since I have four long legs. But that seems too tuhao so I kept it down to two, which totally fits my status. Do you have one?”

No.

BTW if you don’t already know what is the meaning of “tuhao”, read here.

Side note: If you want to get your hands on an Apple Watch (not the Edition version), head on over to our Facebook page and try your luck in the SoyaCincau.com Apple Watch Sport giveaway. It’s super simple and you could be the lucky winner.
