The Samsung Galaxy E7 is now available for RM1,099

Liked the Samsung Galaxy A7 but aren’t willing to fork out for it? the more affordable Samsung Galaxy E series is finally available for purchase. The device is a hair lower in terms of specs than the Samsung Galaxy A7 but has more bang for buck.

Speaking of specs, the phone sports a 5.5 inch super AMOLED screen at 1280 x 720 resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor mated to 2GB RAM with 16GB expandable storage up to 128GB. The device will also have a 13 megapixel rear camera as well as a 5 megapixel front snapper for selfies. It will have dual-SIM support as well as a slightly larger battery than the Galaxy A7 however, with a slight bump up from 2,600mAh to 2,950mAh for more longevity.

But if you’re looking for 4G connectivity, you’re out of luck as it seems that according to the spec sheet the device does not support it.

For the same price you can get the ASUS Zenfone 2 with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage under the hood, which is has better value for money for what you will be getting. The Samsung Galaxy E7 will be available in black, white and blue and can be purchased from authorised retailers for RM 1,099 inclusive of GST.
