Sony Mobile to launch Xperia C4, M4 Aqua and a new flagship on 11th June

Sony Mobile is making some noise this week as they will be announcing 3 new devices for the Malaysian market. The first 2 devices are the Xperia C4, a selfie cetric device and the Xperia M4 Aqua, which is a new mid-range waterproof device.

The third model is said to be a long awaited Xperia flagship device and we know many would anticipate the Xperia Z3+, which is the international variant of its Snapdragon 810 powered Xperia Z4 smart phone. However based on the previous teaser and a quick check at SIRIM, the new flagship device is likely to be its Xperia Z4 tablet

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet

The Xperia Z4 Tablet is their flagship full sized tablet offering with a Quad HD 10.1″ IPS display that pushes 2560×1600 pixels resolution and it is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.0GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor that’s mated to 3GB of RAM. Compared to its former Xperia Z2 Tablet, they have managed slim it down to just 6.1mm, which is the same thickness as the iPad Air 2. It weights from just 389g for the Wifi version.

There’s 32GB of storage, a microSD expansion slot, 8.1MP main camera without flash and front facing 5.1MP unit. Keeping the lights on is a 6,000mAh capacity battery which Sony claims is capable of 17 hours of video playback.

It supports 4G LTE connectivity and 13MP main + 5MP front cameras. Like the Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z3+, the microUSB port is exposed but it still waterproof with IP68 rating. Keeping the lights on is a 2,400mAh capacity battery which Sony claims to last up to 2 days on average use.
