Huawei P8 Lite goes on sale and it might be heading our way

The Huawei P8 is their latest premium flagship that was revealed officially in 2 sizes. There is however a third model in the form of the P8 Lite that features mid-spec internals and obviously a lower price price tag.

While it wasn’t announced, the device has gone on sale quietly in some markets in Europe. In Hungary, a retailer is selling the P8 Lite for 79,999 Hungarian Forint which is about RM1,059. Meanwhile in Germany, the device is available for pre-orders at 249 Euro which is quite close at RM1,011.

In terms of specs, early details of the P8 Lite points to a 5″ HD 720p display, a 1.2GHz Octa-Core Kirin 620 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. It also gets a 13MP rear and 5MP cameras, along with a 2,200mAh capacity battery. The processor is similar to the Honor 4X but with a tiny 2,200mAh battery, you probably might need to charge it more regularly. The P8 Lite also runs on Android 5.0 like its P8 siblings and it runs on their proprietary Emotion UI 3.1 on top.

Huawei will be having its regional P8 launch in early June at Singapore. We are definitely going to see the P8 and the P8 Max and they probably would release the P8 Lite for our market as well.
