You can get the ASUS Zenfone 2 from RM0 on Digi

UPDATE: Zenfone 2 is now available on Digi Online Store.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 is also available on contract via Digi and existing loyal subscribers can get it for free with zero upfront payment. Out of the 5 models launched for Malaysia, Digi is offering the mid-range ZE550ML and its higher-spec ZE551ML variant with 4GB RAM.

The ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML) comes with a 5.5″ HD 720p display and it runs on Intel’s 1.8GHz Atom Z3560 processor with 2GB RAM and has 16GB of storage. If you prefer something better, the ZE551ML from Digi gets a higher resolution 5.5″ Full HD display, 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor with 4GB RAM, along with 32GB of storage. Outright, both are priced at RM749 and RM1,099 respectively (inclusive with GST).

During registration, there’s an advance payment between RM120-800 depending on plan and it will be rebated across your contract period. All plans are tied with 24 months duration except for Smart Plan 78 which has an additional 12 months option.

As a special promo for exising Digi subscribers that have been with them for at least a year, you can pick up either devices for free and there’s no upfront payment required. However this is only limited to its highest Smart Plan 148. Those attending the launch event can pick up the Zenfone 2 via Digi today and it will be officially available to everyone next week on their online store.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 is officially launched in Malaysia today with a total of 5 variants. The entry-level 5″ ZE500CL is priced at RM599 and it goes all the way up to its higher spec 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage at RM1,299.
