Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 to be revealed in June

Rumour has it that the next gen of Tab S tablets might be coming in a couple of months, and we already have some specs to go with it.

Under the hood, the new tablets are likely to have a 64-bit Exynos processor, 3GB RAM as well as 32GB storage with microSD expansion, possible optional Cat.6 LTE support and a 8 megapixel rear and 2.1 megapixel front camera combo. The display on the other hand is rumoured to be a Super AMOLED with a 1536 x 2048 resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. It’s likely to run on Android Lollipop out of the box.

Like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Tab A, the Tab S2 will come in an 8 inch and 9.7 inch variant. They are also expected to hit launch in Wi-Fi only and LTE supported models. The tablet is also expected to be very thin (sources say either 5.4 or 5.5mm) and to weigh in at 260g for the 8 inch model which could very well put the tablet at the world’s thinnest and lightest.

June isn’t too far off so we’re likely to see more information on the Tab S2 as we approach release date.
