Maxis offers the Google Chromecast: Seamless streaming from your mobile to the big screen

If you always wanted to play YouTube videos on the big screen and your TV isn’t exactly smart, the Google Chromecast might be the little tool that you’ll need. It is a HDMI dongle that allows you to connect your TV to your smart phone, tablets and various other WiFi connected devices.

Apart from YouTube, it also allows you to mirror your smart phone content from the web browsing, music and other chromecast supported apps. To set it up is fairly easy by simply connecting the Chromecast into your TV’s HDMI port, and connect the USB cable for its power. Once the WiFi has been set up, you’re good to go.

It is now officially available in Malaysia, exclusively from Maxis at RM170 inclusive of GST. MaxisOne users can pick it up for just RM150. You can get it from selected Maxis Stores nationwide. For more info, visit the Maxis Chromecast page.
