The Xperia Z4 is going to hit the market internationally as the Xperia Z3+, with the phone going by it’s original name only in Japan.
While the Xperia Z3+ isn’t Sony’s big flagship smartphone for this year, it’s just a tiny update to what’s in it’s predecessor the Xperia Z3. The phone will have a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor mated to 3GB RAM as well as a 20.7 megapixel rear shooter, 5 megapixel front camera as well as 32GB expandable storage. The screen will be a 5.2 inch 1080p display and it will also sport a moderately sized 2,930mAh battery as well as run on Android 5.0 Lollipop at launch.
The Xperia Z3+ will still feature the same OmniBalance design with the rest of the family, albeit a little bit chunkier at 6.9mm thick.
The phone is expected to have a May release.
