Xiaomi introduces its smart weighing scale

This week we’ve had a bunch of new releases from Xiaomi ranging from a 55 inch TV to a special pink edition Mi Note. Now they’ve launched what appears to be a digital weight scale that they claim is capable of detecting weight difference even after drinking a cup of water.

The Mi Smart Scale has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a smart balance device, being able to track weight down to 100g precision as well as track your weight and BMI using the Mi Fit App directly to your smartphone. The scale itself will display your weight via a tastefully hidden graphical LED display that only pops up when you are using it.

Don’t worry about breaking it either, it’s got a tough tempered glass for both sleek looks and strength.

As for price, it will be retailing for RMB 99 (about RM 59) so if you’re looking out for a cheap smart health scale, this is already looking like a good option.
