Honor 4X gets priced at RM699 in Malaysia

As GST takes effect on 1st April, the Honor 4X will be available officially in Malaysia and its official price has been revealed at RM699. In terms of specs, we will be getting Huawei’s in-house developed 64-bit Octa-Core Kirin 620 processor that’s mated to 2GB of RAM.

While the RM699 Honor 4X price tag is higher than the Redmi Note 4G, VMall.my seems to have some extra surprises that will be revealed on 1st April. We can’t be sure but they might probably throw in couple of freebies for early bird buyers. If you want to be among the first to know, they have start a registration of interest exercise which you can register over here.

To recap on the specs, the Honor 4X sits between its current Honor 6 and Honor 3C models but it gets a much larger 5.5″ display that pushes HD 720p resolution. Initially launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, they had later on released a Kirin processor variant that comes with twice the number of cores.

The rest of the specs are fairly the same with 8GB of on-board storage with microSD storage, a main 13MP BSI camera and a front facing 5MP shooter. It also comes juiced up with a rather decent 3,000mAh capacity battery which is overall 8.65mm thick and it weighs 170g. Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with their latest EMUI 3.0 skin on top. Being a dual-SIM with 4G LTE support, Honor is pushing this as the ultimate travel smart phone as you can stay in touch with both local and foreign SIMs on the same device.
