Sony Mobile isn’t going to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop to Xperia Z series users just yet but it seems that non Xperia Z series owners aren’t going to get a piece of the pie when it does come around.
Sony has confirmed that the Lollipop update will only be available for the entirety of the Xperia Z series only, in the tweets below. Which means that owners of the Xperia C3, E1, E3, M2, M2 Aqua, T2 Ultra and T3 aren’t going to get the OS update on their phones.
There is still a tiny bit of hope as Sony’s social media guys have gaffed in the past, but given that they’ve said the same thing in multiple tweets has it looking pretty grim to non Xperia Z series users who are hoping to get a hold of Android Lollipop.
