A larger HTC One M9 appears. Could this be the One M9 Plus?

The HTC One M9 isn’t a huge upgrade over the previous One M8, but that could be intentional in preparation of its next model. The rumoured HTC One M9 Plus has appeared again and this time in live pics.

The upcomig model is seen with a similar brushed metal finish but the camera module appears to be larger with a more traditional round shape. Over at the sides, it has a similar 3 button layout for volume control and power/wake button. So far there’s no view from the front but we reckon HTC would be using the same design as the current One M8/M9. It may be possible that HTC could fit a fingerprint scanner at the front that works with a single touch.

In terms of specs, the One M9 Plus could be released in 2 versions – MediaTek MT6795 or a Snapdragon 810 powered unit. While current HTC One Max users are hoping for a larger 5.9-6.0″ display, the recent chatter suggests a slightly bigger 5.2″ display with a possible Quad HD (2560×1440) resolution.

Would you rather get the 5″ Full HD One M9 or the purported One M9 Plus with a 5.2″ Quad HD display?
