Priced at RM 349, ASUS’s latest budget smartphone in their rather popular ZenFone line will be publicly available early this February.
The ZenFone C (ZC451CG) looks like another variant of the ZenFone 4 as it packs the same Intel Atom Multi-Core Z2520 1.2GHz processor with Android 4.4 KitKat (with ASUS Zen UI) out of the box. It will also have a 4.5 inch IPS display at 480 x 854 resolution, 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable storage up to 64GB via MicroSD. Users will also get a bonus 5GB free cloud storage courtesy of ASUS’s cloud service.
The ZenFone C also sports a 0.3MP front and 5MP rear camera with ASUS’s exclusive PixelMaster tech that lets you take better photos, as well houses a 2,100mAh removable battery. Essentially it improves over the ZenFone 4 in the battery and camera department.
Overall the phone does look pretty affordable for what you are getting, and frankly looks like a good contender against the wave of Chinese smartphones flooding the market.
The ASUS ZenFone C will be available in Charcoal Black, Pearl White and Cherry Red and will hit retail stores nationwide by the start of next month.
