Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy E5 and Galaxy J1 passes Malaysian SIRIM certification

Samsung will be introducing a variety of new smart phones into Malaysia as 4 new devices have been spotted in our local SIRIM database. Their current top of the line Galaxy Note Edge has been listed with the model number SM-N915F that’s likely to feature a 2.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM. The official release date isn’t known yet but it should be happening within the next month or so. Expect the price to carry a premium over the Galaxy Note 4 and hopefully it is much cheaper than the asking price by grey importers.

Also making an appearance is the Galaxy A7, its mid-range offering that comes with a 5.5″ Full HD display. For Malaysia, it appears that we are getting the dual-SIM (SM-A700FD) version that runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor (1.5GHz Quad Core + 1.0GHz Quad-Core).

If you’re looking for something more affordable, the Galaxy E series has appeared with the certification of its Galaxy E5 Dual-SIM smart phone. This device is positioned below the Galaxy A series and it comes with dual-SIM slots that’s limited to 3G. Lastly, its new bargain basement Galaxy J1 is also listed with dual-SIM capabilities. The Galaxy J1 is their most affordable 64-bit smart phone which comes with a 4.3″ WVGA display and a basic 1.2GHz Quad-Core Marvell processor.
