As we look forward to the new year, many are getting excited about HTC’s new M9 flagship aka the Hima. But don’t put your hopes high just yet as their CES teaser is pointing towards a new HTC Desire smart phone. The event image that’s posted on Weibo carries the tagline “Always Desire more” and it is happening at 5AM on 6th January in local Malaysia/Beijing Time.
With that, we expect a newer Desire model that could potentially be a level higher than its current HTC Desire EYE. The new Hima flagship is more significant and HTC is likely to announce it on a separate special event, just like Samsung’s Unpacked series. Who knows, it could be at MWC 2015 which is happening on the first week of March 2015.
