New ASUS ZenFones to be announced next month

This year ASUS has been enjoying significant success with their ZenFone series. Offering high-spec experience in an affordable package, it hits the right notes especially in the entry to mid-range segment.

Now they are going to announce its new ZenFone line up for 2015 in a experience 2morrow event. This is happening at CES 2015 on 5th January (Malaysia: 6th January 3:00AM). You can also catch the event live as ASUS will be having a live stream direct from Las Vegas.

According to a posting from Intel, the new ZenFone line up will be priced around US$300 (about RM1,000) and offers 4G LTE as standard. Similar to its current offering, ASUS is likely to release several model with different screen size, processor and RAM/storage combinations.

Right now there are just too many variations for the ZenFone 5 and most recently they have released a cheaper ZenFone 5 Lite that’s being sold at RM419. Apparently ASUS would be selling close to 8 million smart phones this year and they expect to double this figure for 2015.
