YotaPhone 2 with dual-screen gets certified in Malaysia

If you love reading especially on an E-ink screen, the next generation YotaPhone 2 is coming to Malaysia. Last week, it was launched in Europe and now it has already passed certification in our local SIRIM database.

To recap on the specs, the YotaPhone 2 has a higher spec internals compared to its first generation YotaPhone. The front gets a 5″ Full HD display while the back has a 4.7″ E-Ink display that sips very little power. Underneath it runs on a 2.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor that’s mated to 2GB of RAM and has 32GB of storage. It also has 8MP + 2MP cameras, 2,500mAh battery and support for 4G LTE and NFC.

The earlier YotaPhone model was launched in Malaysia at RM1,699 and now you can get it for RM1,299. For the new version, do expect to pay a premium as it is currently priced close to RM3,000 in Europe.

If you’re curious to see how does the YotaPhone 2 dual-screen work, check out our hands-on with the YotaPhone 2 after the break.
