Xiaomi Mi Band goes on sale in Malaysia on 16 December

If you’re looking for the fitness band for little money, the Xiaomi Mi Band will be available in Malaysia next Tuesday on 16th December 2014. It will be priced officially at RM59 but unfortunately it is available only as a bundle buy with their Redmi Note 4G smart phone . The Fitness Bundle with both Redmi Note 4G and Mi Band costs RM648.

The Mi Band is Xiaomi’s first wearable device which is water and dust resistant with IP67 rating and it is rated to last 30 days on a single charge. Feature wise, it is an always on activity tracker which tracks your steps as well as sleeping pattern. In addition, it also acts as a vibration alert for incoming calls.

In terms of support, the Mi Band is compatible most Android devices but the full set of features are only available with the Mi 3 and Redmi Note 4G. Included in the Mi Band package is the Mi Band module, a default black colour strap and a charging cable. Meanwhile, the huge 16,000mAh Power Bank which is going on sale tomorrow (11th December) won’t be sold on its own. To get it, you would need to buy it with the Redmi Note 4G Power Bundle at RM668. The Redmi Note 4G retails for RM589 while the 16,000mAh power bank is priced at RM79. The sale is happening on mi.com/my at 12PM.
