Lenovo Vibe X2 officially launched in Malaysia

The Lenovo Vibe X2 is now official in Malaysia, offering a unique layered design in a slim package. Priced at RM1,199, the Vibe X2 offers 4G LTE connectivity and it even has support for dual-SIM.

Over at the front, it gets a 5″ Full HD screen and it is powered by MediaTek’s 2.0GHz MT6595 Octa-Core processor, that’s mated to 2GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the Vibe X2 isn’t expandable but you do get a generous 32GB of storage, which is a lot for this price range.

It also gets a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front shooter that’s packed with selfie-centric features. Keeping the lights on is a 2,300mAh capacity battery and overall it weighs just 120 grams with a 7.27mm thickness.

During the launch, Lenovo has also announced additional accessories for the Vibe X2. For extended usage, there’s the Vibe X2 Battery Xtension case which gives 75% more battery life from its 2,300mAh battery. It is priced at RM139 and it adds a reasonable 5.1mm thickness to the overall design. So that’s a total of 4,600mAh battery capacity with a combined 12.4mm thickness.

If you prefer to have better audio, there’s an X2 Speaker Xtension with JBL Audio. It connects via Bluetooth and it even as a built-in mic for better hands-free tele-conference. It is slightly thicker too at 8.3mm and its built-in battery is rated to last 5 hours. The X2 Speaker extension is priced at RM299.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 is now available and it comes in several colours such as White, Gold, Red and Dark Grey.
