With Android 5.0 Lollipop being pushed to more devices, Google is updating most of its apps to comply with its new Material Design. The YouTube app is the latest to get the treatment and it is rolling out now with version 6.00.11.
Apart from the new look, they have also added new search filters as well. So you can find videos uploaded at specific dates or desired lengths. You could also filter the search results for 3D, HD and Caption enabled content.
The update should be rolling out to Malaysian users shortly but if you can’t wait, you can download the latest version via APK download. Take note that you would need to disable some app security settings before installing.
