Meizu MX4 pre-order is happening again at Lazada

Meizu which is a new Chinese smart phone player in Malaysia has kicked off its 2nd pre-orders for their Meizu MX4. It is offered at the same price of RM1,099 for its 16GB capacity model.

To recap on the specs, the MX4 offers a 5.36″ Full HD display and it runs on MediaTek’s 2.2GHz Octa-Core MT6595 processor that’s mated to 2GB of RAM. In terms of benchmark, the MX4 is smashing numbers of current flagships as it scores over 51,000 points on Antutu. It also gets a 20.7MP Sony Exmor RS main camera and keeping the device going is a 3,100mAh capacity battery that’s also sourced from Sony.

Hardware aside, the Meizu MX4 runs on their very own Flyme 4.0 OS which is very different from your typical Android experience. The usability is much simplified and it relies on gesture such as swiping up to switch on and to swipe up from the home button to go back. Switching off the device is done by long press on the home button. We’ve just gotten a unit so do watch out for our hands-on soon.

If you’re interested to place an order, head over to Lazada’s Meizu MX4 page which is available in Grey, Gold and Silver colours.
