iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 available from Maxis on contract

The latest iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 had went on sale in Malaysia a couple of weeks back. If you’re planning on getting a 4G version, Maxis is now offering both tablets on contract.

With its SurfMore 50 plan that offers 2GB data at RM50/month, the iPad Air 2 (Cellular version) is offered from RM1,689 while the iPad mini 3 (Cellular version) is offered from RM1,389. The full bundled pricing are as follows:

iPad Air 2
16GB – (RRP: RM2,029) – RM1,689
64GB – (RRP: RM2,349) – RM1,929
128GB – (RRP: RM2,679) – RM2,229

iPad mini 3
16GB – (RRP: RM1,699) – RM1,349
64GB – (RRP: RM2,029) – RM1,709
128GB – (RRP: RM2,349) -RM1,999

During sign up, you would need to put a 3 month advance subscription fee as advance payment, which will be refunded over 5 months. However it is waived for Maxis subscribers that have been active for the past 1 year with good payment records. All contracts are tied with 24 months duration.
