BenQ makes the most affordable LTE smartphones in the market, here’s how you can win one

This post is paid for by BenQ Smartphones. Capture enchanting surprise even in the dark with the BenQ F5.

You get a lot for your money with the BenQ F5 and the T3. Priced well below the RM1,000 mark, both phones offer LTE connectivity (up to 150Mbps download) and a number of features rarely seen in phones at this price range.

The BenQ F5: A lot of device for just RM699

In the F5, you get the tried and tested 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor mated to 2GB of RAM to give you reliable performance in all but the most demanding of tasks. While most smartphones at this price range would have you struggling with just 8GB of on board storage, the F5 offers 16GB. If that’s not enough, you can easily expand storage up to an additional 64GB with a microSD card.

The 5-inch 720p IPS display pushes (295ppi) which is more than enough to give you a pleasant viewing experience. The F5 also incorporates a unique “Low Blue Light Feature” that reduces the amount of blue light produced by the display which in turn helps reduce eye strain during prolonged viewing.

In the camera department, the F5 comes with a Sony-sourced 13MP f2/2 BSI camera capable of shooting 1080p videos. The camera is equipped with an “Ultra-Sensitivity” mode that boosts low-light sensitivity up to four times which makes objects visible even in extremely low light – a feature you only see in devices three or four more expensive than the F5. At the front, you get a more than adequate 2MP camera for selfies.

The F5 gets a 2,520mAh non-removable battery, which typically is larger than most phones in the RM800 price range (most are around 2,000 to 2,200 mAh).

BenQ T3: Probably the most affordable 4G LTE smartphone right now

And then there’s the BenQ T3, which probably is the most affordable LTE smartphone you can get at the moment.

For RM499, the BenQ T3 feature 4.5-inch qHD (960×540) display and a higher 8MP main camera that’s above average in this price range. Additional the camera also supports BenQ’s “Ultra-Sensitivity” low light mode. Powering the T3 is a proven 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and it is juiced up with a 1,900mAh capacity battery.
