Lazada starts pre-order for Meizu MX4 in Malaysia

UPDATE: The initial MX4 pre-order units have sold out. Next pre-order is taking place on 5th December.

The Meizu MX4 is now available for pre-orders in Malaysia through Lazada. Retailing at RM1,099 for the 16GB version, the Meizu MX4 will be officially available on 28th November and it comes with a choice of Grey, Gold and Silver body colours. So far there’s no word from Blue Kor Sdn Bhd, its local distributor on the local availability of its larger capacity 32GB and 64GB models.

To recap on the specs, the Meizu MX4 is yet another flagship smart phone from China which offers a 5.36″ Full HD display with MediaTek’s newer 2.2GHz Octa-Core MT6595 processor that’s mated to 2GB of RAM. For better imaging, it boast a higher 20.7MP 1/2.3″ main camera similar to Sony’s Xperia Z range and keeping the lights on is a 3,100mAh capacity battery. The Meizu MX4 is no slouch as it was ranked the top performer on AnTuTu benchmarks for last quarter. Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.4 with its custom Flyme 4.0 OS.


For faster connectivity, the MX4 supports dual-4G LTE bands in both FDD and TDD-LTE as well as 802.11ac WiFi. On the outside, the MX4 boast upmarket build with its aluminium magnesium alloy body which is both light and durable. Overall it weighs 147 grams and has a thickness of 8.9mm.
