Redmi Note 4G to be announced in Malaysia next week

The 4G enabled Redmi Note is going to be announced in Malaysia very soon. Following its recent announcement in Singapore, Mi Malaysia Facebook page has posted a similar teaser of their upcoming phone with faster connectivity.

In terms of sales availability, we reckon it is likely to happen probably within a week from its announcement. To stand a chance of getting one without the mad rush, Mi Malaysia is also giving away 10 F-Codes to those who share and guessed the product correctly. The upcoming device will be revealed exactly 3PM on Monday, 17th November. Coincidentally, Xiaomi will also open its first exclusive service centre at Low Yat Plaza on the same day.

The Redmi Note 4G is priced at S$229 in Singapore which converts to RM592 in our local currency. In terms of specs, the exterior looks the same as the current dual-SIM 3G Redmi Note with a 5.5″ HD 720p display. Underneath however you’ll get a Quad-Core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that’s mated to 2GB of RAM and it also comes with 8GB of storage. The cameras are the same with a 13MP main camera and a front facing 5MP shooter for selfies.
