Huawei Ascend G7 is coming to Malaysia by year end

During today’s Huawei Ascend Mate 7 local launch, Huawei has also announced that its mid-tier Ascend G7 is coming to Malaysia. It is expected to go on sale by end of December 2014.

Priced at RM999, the Ascend G7 is a mid-spec 4G LTE device with upmarket aspirations. To recap on the specs, it features a 5.5″ HD 720p display and it runs on a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor that’s mated to 2GB of RAM. On-board it has 16GB of on-board storage which can be expanded via microSD. Similar with the Ascend Mate 7, it also has a 13MP Sony BSI camera and a front facing 5MP unit.

Unlike the similar priced Honor 6, the Ascend G7 is positioned to be more premium with a metal body but the display is a notch down in terms of resolution. Keeping the lights on is a 3,000mAh capacity battery and it also boast a slim 7.9mm side profile and it weighs 165 grams. It also supports Cat 4 4G LTE which can support speeds up to 150Mbps.
