Meizu MX4 Pro poses for the camera together with spec details

The Meizu MX4 will soon be having a bigger brother with the upcoming MX4 Pro. Now its purported live photo has surfaced along with its hardware specs revealed by GFXBench.

In terms of hardware, the MX4 Pro will have a slightly bigger 5.5″ Quad HD display that does 2560×1536 and underneath it runs on Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa processor that consists of 4x A15 cores and 4x A7 cores. There’s 3GB of RAM and storage is shown to be a 16GB version which is likely to be accompanied with a bigger 64GB variant. The benchmark device info also reveals a 19MP shooter at the back and a front facing 5MP camera. This matches its earlier speculation that it will use Sony’s 20.7MP camera from its Xperia flagship series.

The home button on the MX4 Pro looks more “Samsung” than an iPhone which is mimicked by its MX4 model. Earlier on, there are early MX4 Pro renders that suggests a more oval shaped button but the recent live photos suggests a more squarish look. The home button is speculated to double up as a finger print scanner like Apple’s Touch ID. The MX4 Pro is expected to be announced in China by end of November.

Check out the earlier image renders as well as the MX4 Pro specs after the break.
