iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 pops up ahead of announcement

Apple will be refreshing its iPad range very soon and if you’re curious to find out, Apple has accidentally revealed bits of info through its iOS 8.1 iPad user guide. From the looks of it, the latest iPad will return back to its numeral system with the new models being called as the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3.

As speculated before, both devices will come with a Home button that doubles up as a Touch ID finger print scanner. Another new feature is a Burst Mode for its camera, where you can rapid fire cameras shots by pressing and holding the shutter button.

The latest iPads are also expected to come in a trio of colours which includes the standard Space Grey, Silver, and now Gold. Word also has it that it will be powered by a faster A8X processor which could be mated to 2GB of RAM. Like the latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the screens might get bumped to a higher Retina HD display that would boast extra clarity over last year’s iPads of 2048×1536 pixels resolution.

Apple will be announcing these latest iPads along with their new Macs at 1AM early tomorrow morning (Friday, 17th October) Malaysian time. If you have an iOS device or a Mac, you can watch it live from its official live stream page.
