More pictures of HTC Desire Eye revealed. To feature BoomSound stereo speakers

HTC’s ultimate selfie device, the HTC Desire Eye is likely to be announced at their upcoming 8th October event. From its initial leaked images, the Desire Eye features a larger 13MP front camera with assisted flash but we can’t seem to notice any speaker vents at the front.

According to @upleaks, HTC hasn’t removed its famed BoomSound speakers and they are still present but it is placed more discreetly right above and below its 5.2″ display. Based on the full press render by htcfamily.ru, the side buttons appear to be jutting out a little which reveals not only a side mounted volume rocker and power button, but also an additional button at the bottom which is likely to be a dedicated camera button.

To recap on the specs, the HTC Desire Eye is speculated to be running on a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM and it is powered with a smaller 2,400mAh capacity battery. Both front and back will feature 13MP cameras and it is said to be water resistant like its current HTC Butterfly 2. We’ll find out more this coming Wednesday where HTC is expected to launch this along with its rugged action camera.
