Maxis offers Sony Xperia Z3 on contract from RM1,499

The Sony Xperia Z3 is now available on contract with Maxis from as low as RM1,499. Retailing outright at RM2,399, this waterproof flagship is bundled with MaxisOne Plan that comes with unlimited talk and SMS. In addition, they are also giving out its earlier Smart Watch 2 worth RM780 for the first 100 customers. The full Xperia Z3 bundled pricing are as follows with 24 months contract duration:

MaxisOne Plan Lite – 1GB Internet (RM78/month) – RM1,699
MaxisOne Plan – 2GB Internet (RM128/month) – RM1,499

During sign up, the Maxis would require 4 months subscription for advance payment which calculates to RM312 (MaxisOne Plan Lite) and RM512 (MaxisOne Plan). However for existing customers with good payment records for the past months would be eligible for a full advance payment waiver. At the moment, it appears that Maxis is only offering the Black colour version on their online store. For more information, head over to the Xperia Z3 page.

The Sony Xperia Z3 is currently the highest rated waterproof smart phone at IP68. It gets a 5.2″ Full HD display and gets a newer 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM. It retains the same 20.7MP rear camera but it is further improved with a wider 25mm G-Lens and a new Intelligent Active mode video stabilisation feature. While the battery has been reduced in capacity to 3,100mAh, it boast up to 2 days of usage on a single charge. If you haven’t seen it yet, do check out our hands-on and first impressions.
