Is this the upcoming Nexus 6?

As Android moves on to its next Android L release, the Nexus project appears to be alive and kicking with a possible new Nexus 9 tablet developed by HTC. For the smart phone segment, it is speculated that they are working on a Nexus 6 which this time will be made by Motorola.

A sharp eyed commuter had spotted a prototype looking device and it is alleged to be the Nexus 6. As seen at the bottom of the screen, you’ll notice the new Android L icons for the on-screen buttons. Also visible is a pair of front stereo speakers as seen on the latest Motorola range of Moto G and Moto X.

In terms of specs, the Nexus 6 is speculated to come with a 5.9″ display, propelling it into the phablet category. It is also likely to carry a similar 13MP shooter as its latest Moto X and juicing up the device is a generous 3,200mAh capacity battery.

All of a sudden, everyone wants to come out with a humongous device. For the Nexus enthusiast, are you willing to make a jump from a 5″ Nexus to a 5.9″ device?
