ASUS ZenFone 4 starts receiving KitKat update

The affordable ASUS ZenFone 4 is finally getting a taste of KitKat. ASUS is beginning to roll out its Android 4.4 update in batches so it might take a while before it reach Malaysian users. To check if the software update is available, you can go to Settings > About > System Update > “Check Update”.

So far there’s no mention of the ASUS ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 that are running on Intel Atom processors but they are likely to get it soon after this. For the ZenFone 5 4G LTE version, it is already running on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
