Samsung seems to have been bitten with the metal bug. After introducing its Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 4, they now are on a roll of producing more metal feeling models.
The device you’re seeing above is said to be the Galaxy A5 (SM-A500F) and it will be one of several models under its new A-series. From the photos it retains a metallic looking frame that’s coated with body matching colours, which is a similar treatment with their latest Galaxy Note 4. According to Sammobile’s source, the frame may not be even made with metal but it is substituted for a different material that feels cold to touch.
Hardware wise, it is said to feature a 5″ HD Super AMOLED display, which is larger than the current Galaxy Alpha. Powering the device is a mid-spec Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and it comes with 16GB of storage, 13MP main camera and a front facing 5MP shooter.
From the photos, the Galaxy A5 appears to have a unibody design without a removable back cover. From the side shots, its flush looking SIM and microSD card slots are visible. The battery is reported to be 2,330mAh capacity, which is quite decent for its specs. What do you guys think?
