Samsung Galaxy Alpha available on U Mobile with zero upfront payment

Apart from Maxis, U Mobile is also offering the Galaxy Alpha on contract and there’s an option to pick one up with zero upfront payment. Outright, the Galaxy Alpha is priced at RM1,899 and it can be yours from as low as RM709.

As usual, the device is offered on its U58, U88 and U Plus postpaid plans that offer 2GB, 3GB and 5GB mobile data respectively. The Galaxy Alpha bundle offering is tied with a 24 months contract duration.

For the Zero Upfront payment, it is only eligible with U88 and U Plus plans and you are required to sign up for monthly auto debit via credit card. Without auto-debit, you would need to pay an upfront payment of RM528 on U88 or RM1104 on U Plus postpaid plan.

To recap on the specs, the Galaxy Alpha is a compact 4.7″ smart phone that is powered by their very own Exynos Octa-Core processor (4 cores at 1.8GHz / 4 cores at 1.3GHz) with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. At 6.7mm thin, this is their thinnest Galaxy smart phone yet and it feels more uprated with its metallic frame. It also packs a 12MP main camera, a front facing 2MP shooter, 1,860mAh capacity battery and has support for faster Cat 6 4G LTE.
