Cheaper Mi In-Ear Head Phones available this coming Tuesday

UPDATE: The Mi In-Ear Headphone basic will be available in both Black and White colour options.

In the upcoming flash sale that’s happening next Tuesday 16th September, Xiaomi will be introducing a cheaper version of its In-Ear Piston headphones. Simply called as the Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic, it promises the similar audio quality at a cheaper price.

The plastic based headphone will be priced at RM25, which is half of its RM50 premium version. Being plastic, it is lighter by a mere 2 grams (Basic: 10g, Original: 12g) and it will be available in Black & White colour options. Another difference is the headphone connector which is nickel-plated instead of the usual gold. Also retained the same 1.2m cable length and 3 button controls in the middle.

For this coming Tuesday, they will be restocking Mi 3 (2,000 units), Redmi 1S (5,000 units), Redmi Note (10,000 units) and more of its popular powerbanks at 12PM on its Mi Online store. Take note there’s a minimum order for free delivery, so probably is best to combine your order with your friends or add extra items to save on shipping cost.

Just a note of caution, the Mi Headphone doesn’t seem to work on Sony Xperia Z2 as the phone uses CTIA instead of the usual OMTP headphone jack standard. A workaround for this is to purchase a CTIA to OMTP adapter.
