The affordable 5.5″ Redmi Note phablet is now available for contract bundling with MaxisOne Plan. Retailing at RM509, the Redmi Note is offered for free with 24 months contract of MaxisOne Plan which costs RM128/month. For those who wish to commit less, you can opt for MaxisOne Plan Lite at RM78/month where the phone is offered at RM99.
As usual, the contract period is 24 months and you would need to pay 4 months worth of subscription fees as advance payment during sign up. However if you are porting in to Maxis from another telco, the advance payment will be waived.
By default, the MaxisOne Plan Lite and MaxisOne Plan comes with 1GB and 2GB of mobile internet data respectively. For the MaxisOne Plan, you can get additional 1GB wtih an extra RM10 rebate, which cost RM20, instead of the usual RM30/GB rate.
Redmi Note has a 5.5″ HD 720p display and runs on a MediaTek1.7GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage. It also has a 13MP main camera and a front facing 5MP camera. Being a phablet device, the Redmi Note is generously juiced up with a 3,200mAh capacity battery.
