Huawei to announce Ascend Mate 7 with Fingerprint scanner at IFA 2014

Huawei will be making an announcement at the upcoming IFA 2014 in Berlin. From its official invite, it will be the Ascend Mate 7 which will be unveiled on 4th September. The new Mate 7 is expected to feature a fingerprint scanner, which Huawei claims to be different from the rest.

Early speculation suggests that the Ascend Mate 7 would come in 2 versions. The high-end model is expected to come with a 6″ QHD display that does 2560×1440 while the lower-spec version settles for a 6″ screen with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution. Both are expected to run on their very own Octa-Core Kirin 920 processor with 3GB of RAM (2GB for lower-spec), 13MP main camera and a front facing 5MP shooter. You can also expect 4G LTE support as well as the latest Android 4.4 KitKat and Emotion UI 3.0 installed out of the box.
