Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Sony Xperia Z3, Microsoft will be announcing a couple of devices at the upcoming IFA 2014 in Berlin. There’s little question on what could be announced in 3 weeks time as the invite shows a PureView camera element which is likely to be the new Lumia 830. Expected also is their new Selfie smart phone that’s likely to be the Lumia 730.
Based on early speculation, the Lumia 830 is a new mid-tier device with a 4.5″ HD 720p display and comes with a large 20.1MP PureView camera. Meanwhile the Lumia 730, which is seen as a replacement for its Lumia 720 would have a slightly larger 4.7″ HD 720p display and it comes with a 5MP front facing camera, which is the largest for the Lumia series. Internally the Lumia 730 is said to be running on a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Microsoft/Nokia event is happening on 4th September and both devices will be running on the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1.
