A clearer look at the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and its premium metal body

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha which boasts premium materials is expected to be launched before its upcoming Galaxy Note 4. In the previous leaked photos, the Galaxy Alpha appears to have a glossy chrome-like metal surface while its removable back cover features a similar perforated design as their current Galaxy S5.

Now there’s a fresh batch of images from China and it looks ready for prime time. The metal frame has a matte finish and it appears to have a wide recessed area towards the middle of each side. This gives it a shape like an iPhone 5/5S with an Element Case on but with minimal protrusion at each corners. You’ll find a power button on the right while the volume rockets are located on the left. The unit shown this time is in white and also visible at the back is a heart rate sensor that’s placed vertically to the left of its main camera.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy Alpha is speculated to be having a 4.7-4.8″ HD 720p display, 12MP main camera, Exynos 5433 Octa-core processor and 32GB of storage which is non-expandable. The tentative announcement date is on 13th August which is next Wednesday. Head after the break for more images of the Galaxy Alpha.
