Now you can buy the Mi 3 hassle free as Xiaomi opens Pre-sale tomorrow

The Mi 3 had went on sale in Malaysia for about 2 months now and if you still struggling to purchase a unit, Xiaomi is now offering an easier solution. For the first time in Malaysia, they are offering a pre-sale of the Mi 3 where you can purchase a unit without the mad rush of a flash sale. It is happening at 12PM tomorrow (31st July) at their Mi Online store. If you look at the image above carefully, you will notice a fine line of text at the top and bottom where they are giving out extra freebies through their Facebook page.

According to Xiaomi, there’s no rush and all you need to do is to make a payment immediately at 12PM. The only catch is that you would need to wait a little longer for the phone and depending on demand, it can take up to 4 weeks. A typical order during its weekly flash would normally take about 6-8 working days to be delivered. They didn’t mention any sales duration and it is likely there’s a closing time for the sale.

Outright, the Mi 3 is priced at RM769 for the 16GB capacity version and if you opt for the Essentials Bundle, it would cost a total of RM805 which comes with additional screen protectors and Flip Case. To get to know the Mi 3 better, you can check out our unboxing and hands-on video.

The Mi 4 is currently their latest pride an joy with better hardware and premium exterior design. If you compare both Mi 4 and Mi 3, the Mi 3 is still the thinnest and lightest among its current Xiaomi smart phones. In China, the Mi 4 has gone on sale but only in 3G variant for China Unicom. A 4G model will be made available in September but that only supports TDD-LTE which is commonly used in China. For the rest of the world including Malaysia, Xiaomi will be releasing a 4G FDD-LTE version and they are targeting that for year end release.
