The Nokia Lumia 530 is Microsoft’s most affordable Windows Phone 8.1 device that’s priced below €100 (about RM430). To prove that this is the best smart phone for the least amount of money, they have released an ad comparing the specs of other cheap and cheerful devices that are available internationally. This includes the Moto E, HTC Desire 210 and other entry level offerings from Samsung, ZTE, Huawei Alcatel, LG and Lenovo.
From Microsoft’s comparison, the Lumia 530 stands out as being the only device to support up to 128GB microSD card, a Quad-Core processor (1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 200) and it runs on the latest OS (Windows Phone 8.1). Obviously they didn’t include the Xiaomi Redmi 1S which isn’t widely available worldwide. Nevertheless, the Lumia 530 is a new choice in a low price segment that’s dominated by Androids. For an even lower budget, there’s also the ZenFone 4 that’s priced under RM300.
