Another purported Xiaomi Mi 4 image leaked ahead of launch

The new Xiaomi Mi 4 will be announced shortly but if you can’t wait, here’s another purported image of the upcoming flagship device. The new image shows its side profile which reveals its metallic frames with chamfered edges.

It certainly looks like an iPhone and Xiaomi isn’t hiding the fact that it tends to mimic the Cupertino company’s designs especially with its iPad + iPhone 5C looking Mi Pad. We will know if this is the real deal very shortly as the event starts at 2PM. You can check out the live event update over here.

The Mi 4 is expected to bring its flagship smart phone on par with the rest with a newer 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM. It is speculated that the display retains a similar 5″ FulL HD screen while the camera would be enhanced with possibly a 13MP or 16MP shooter. Also expected is support for faster 4G LTE which is lacking with their current smart phones. In its event teaser, Xiaomi has been emphasizing the usage of steel and it could referring to its metallic frame body as shown above.
