Motorola Moto G gets Android 4.4.4 update in Malaysia

UPDATE: Moto G 4G Edition gets Android 4.4.4 update as well. Thanks @OngTk for the tip!

After receiving its Android 4.4.3 software update, the Moto G is now getting another upgrade to the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat. This comes just less than a month after Google had released the latest version for its Nexus line of devices.

Apart from having the latest security and stability fixes, the new update also introduce a newer dialler interface, ability to pause video recording and a new Motorola Alert personal security feature. The update is being pushed over the air and we recommend downloading this using WiFi. If you haven’t receive any update alerts, you can try checking manually at Settings > About Phone > System Update.

One of the key benefits of owning a new Motorola device like the Moto G, Moto X and Moto E is access to the very latest Android versions. At the moment, most smart phones including flagship models are still running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. If you’re looking for a new Moto device, they had recently released the Moto G with 4G LTE and microSD slot in Malaysia for RM799.
