In light of the shocking tragedy that has affected family members and friends of the entire flight and crew of MH17; Uber Kuala Lumpur joins the Malaysian community in extending their deepest condolences, and has duly cancelled the Malaysian portion of the global Uber Ice-Cream On-Demand event, originally scheduled to run today between 11am and 11pm.
Uber Kuala Lumpur thanks all parties who have supported the publicity of the event, and seeks the public understanding of the decision that has respectfully been made.
