The premium Samsung Galaxy smart phone rumoured as the Galaxy F has been mentioned for several months now. Before dismissing such rumours, a new Korean news report has shed some light and claims it will be launched next month in August. Expected to be announced as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, it will be a premium aluminium device that will be launched in time to counter the iPhone 6.
They didn’t reveal any specs but if the iPhone 6 is the phone to beat, we would expect similar specs to its Galaxy S5 LTE-A model at the very least. Currently exclusive to South Korea, the Galaxy S5 LTE-A edition boast a 5.1″ Quad HD display and it runs on a much newer 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM. With the Galaxy Note 4 expected to be announced in September, it is surprising for Samsung to launch yet another flagship model just a month earlier.
