Sony Xperia Z3 hands-on photos appear. Reveals newer design with rounded edges

Sony is expected to announce its new flagship Xperia Z3 very soon and now we have a clearer picture of their new waterproof flagship smart phone. The Xperia Z2 which was announced early this year resembles very closely with its previous Xperia Z1 model which is hard to tell them apart. Looks like it is a different story now as the Xperia Z3 comes with a fresher design and they have ditched the boxy flat edge design for a more rounded look.

The ports and its placements have been retained on the Xperia Z3. You’ll find the a long flap covers on both sides, a protruding power button on the right with volume rocker and it also comes with a dedicated camera button. The flap covers have been redesigned with rounded corners as well and if you hate opening them for charging, it also comes with a magnetic dock port on the left.

The main camera at the back is the same old 20.7MP shooter with a 1/2.3″ sensor size which can be found on its current Xperia Z2 and previous Xperia Z1. With Selfie being a trend right now, it is likely that Sony would implement some of its PROselfie features from its Xperia C3. The Xperia Z3 is expected to be announced at the upcoming IFA Berlin event that’s happening in September. Internally, the specs are rumoured to be a newer 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 with 3GB of RAM.

Check out the rest of the photos after the break.
